Privacy policy
This policy explains what information G&E Tile and Flooring collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have tried to keep it short and in plain language.
Who we are
G&E Tile and Flooring installs vinyl plank, hardwood and tile for homes and businesses in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. You can reach us at (612) 324-9962 or gregsfloorings@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us.
- The estimate form: your name, phone number, project type, and, if you choose to give them, your email address and any details about your project.
- Calls and emails: whatever you tell us when you contact us directly.
Our website host, GitHub, may record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type when pages are loaded, the way any website host does. We do not receive or use that information. See GitHub’s privacy statement for how they handle it.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies or similar tracking on this website.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
- We do not ask you to create an account.
How we use your information
To reply to your request, give you an estimate, schedule a visit, and do the work if you hire us. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
When you send the estimate form, it is passed through FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, which delivers it to our email inbox. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail). These services handle your information only to deliver and store the message for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and related messages for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out any job, and keep ordinary business records. After that we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email us using the details above and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is for adults hiring flooring and tile work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, such as using an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
